Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 until January 19th 2008) was an American theatre, film television, and voice actress. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was a part of films during the latter half of the 1950s. She was later featured in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). In the following years, she was a part of several television productions and was often in guest roles. She played Emily Hartley from 1972 to 1978 on The Bob Newhart show, in which she received several Emmy Award nominations.
